SFTP Connector

Create a new SFTP Connector

You can create a new connector by going to Settings -> Connectors and click on the action “New Connector”. You can give the connector a name and a description. Then choose “SFTP” as the connector type.

You can configure the following properties:

Hostname

This is the plain ip address or the hostname of the SFTP server you want to connect to.

Port

The port of the SFTP server.

User

This is the username of the SFTP account.

Password

The password of your SFTP account.

Password Confirmation

Please retype the password.

Private Key

If the SFTP server requires the use of a private key, you can upload it here. It has to be upload in the format .pem.

Root path

In most cases the root path can be left as it is. It depends on the server setup if needs to be set to a specific value.

Create a SFTP Partner

Each SFTP connector can have multiple partners, seperated by different folders on the SFTP server.

To create a new partner navigate to the SFTP connector card page. On the partner subpage click on “New”. You will have to provide the following information:

Name

The name of the partner. This information is just used in the user interface of the portal.

Description

Optional. You can take some notes regarding the connection.

Partner Code (ERP System):

This code has to be unique and is used to identify the partner to the connected ERP system. It has to be identical to one of the EDI Communication Partner codes in Anvaigo EDI Connect.

Receive

Check this box if you want to receive data from this partner

Receive Folder

Here you specify the subfolder of the root path where the files are stored that shall be imported to Dynamics. If it is the same as the root folder, you can leave it blank.

Receive File Mask

If the folder can contain other files than the ones you want to receive you can set an appropriate file mask here, otherwise you can leave it blank.

After Receive

After the file has been imported to the MFT, one of several options can be performed:

  • Move to archive: this will move the file from the import folder to the folder specified in the “Archive Folder” property.
  • Add timestamp and move to archive: this is the same, but an additional timestamp will be written to the filename
  • Delete file from server: the imported file will be deleted from the “Receive Folder”
Send Data

Check this box if you want to send data to the partner.

Send folder

If there is a subfolder of the root folder of the connector where the files shall be stored, you can specify it here. If it is the same folder as the root folder you can leave it blank.

Filename(s)
